Nissan Murano vs Honda CR-V

Nissan Murano

In the battle of which crossover is best for our Augusta, Martinez, and Aiken customers, two top the charts with expert engineering and innovative features: The 2020 Nissan Murano and the 2020 Honda CR-V. There is no doubt that these two models are impressive; however, only one can be right for you.

Miracle Nissan of Augusta is here to help you figure that out with our Nissan Murano vs. Honda CR-V comparison. Below, you’ll see these crossovers go head to head in the most important categories to drivers. Which one will come out on top and prove to be the next set of wheels in your driveway? Let’s find out.

2020 Nissan Murano vs 2020 Honda CR-V: Performance

Nissan Murano Engine Specs

Crossovers are known for delivering a smooth drive that’s backed by more power than a sedan. This is true in both the Murano and CR-V. Each comes equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which allows for guess-free glides on the streets. However, when it comes to power, the similarities end.

When standardly configured, the Honda CR-V has a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine under its hood. This powertrain offers a respectable horsepower of 190 with a paired torque of 179 lb-ft of torque. However, it is no competition to the Nissan Murano.

The Murano packs quite the punch with its 3.5L V6 powertrain, which gets up to 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque for more vigor behind the wheel. Plus, this allows this crossover to tow up to 1,500 pounds–so say hello to better trips to the lake this summer.

2020 Murano vs 2020 CR-V: Technology

When we take a look inside the Nissan Murano and Honda CR-V, you’ll find suites of technologies that were engineered to make your drives more enjoyable. Though these two crossovers offer similar features, what comes standard is quite different.

Nissan Murano Interior Technology

For example, the 2020 Nissan Murano makes a load of incredible technologies standard for drivers on every trim. This includes a NissanConnect® 8-inch touch-screen multimedia system, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and a hands-free text messaging assistant.

Unfortunately, the 2020 Honda CR-V only comes standard with a 5-inch LCD screen. Though this does offer Bluetooth® technology, if you want any of the above features, you’ll have to consider a higher trim level.

Nissan Murano Interior

Comfort and convenience are key when driving, and luckily enough, Nissan and Honda have you covered. Both offer standard 6-way powered driver’s seats and available leather upholstery, so you can your passengers can stay cozy for the ride ahead.

The Nissan Murano takes it one step further, though. Standard on every trim, you’ll have dual-zone automatic climate control. This allows you to set a different temp for you and your passenger for elevated happiness. Though the Honda CR-V comes with standard automatic climate control, dual-zone is only available with upgrades.

Also in the Murano cabin, you’ll find the available Bose® Premium Audio System. This gives you a whopping 11 speakers and dual subwoofers to really crank up your tunes.

The CR-V also makes available an upgraded sound system. Unfortunately, it offers fewer speakers and only one subwoofer.
